Customs is an organisation with a rich tradition and history that constantly adapts, that works on its development and which is facing a dynamic period. That appeals to me and challenges me. Wim Hoogendoorn has been chief HR director at the Ministry of Defence since 2021. Prior to that, he held the positions of secretary-managing director of the Metropoolregio Rotterdam - The Hague, group director of Administrative and Group Support at the municipality of Rotterdam and general director of Social Affairs and Employment/group director Work and Income.
